Yes! This site is for you too. Your sir name may not be Pemberton but that
doesn't mean that you're not family. You may have a different sir name for many
reasons and that reason may be why we've had trouble finding you!
Use this scenario as an example of how easy a name gets lost. Pemberton has a
child who, at birth, took the name of the father which is; Jackson. On the birth
cert. sir name is hyphenated and it reads; "Baby Jackson-Pemberton". In many
cases children drop the name after the hyphen and don't use it and in many cases
that name gets lost.
You may have been married and have taken on the name of your spouse. You may be
a cousin or have been brought into the family via marriage but how would we
know? You have to tell us! There are some family members who haven't been heard
from in years. Hopefully this site can help us find them. |
